What you are actually paying for
What counts as an application?
One tailored CV and cover letter generated for one specific job. Reviewing a match, editing a draft, or re-generating a document you are not happy with does not count again. Browsing matches costs nothing on any plan.
Is the free plan a trial?
No. Free is a plan, not a countdown. It gives you the full career profile, your profile score, 10 matches a month and 3 tailored applications a month, and it does not expire. The 7-day trial is a separate thing: it applies to Pro and Power, so you can use the paid limits before paying.
What does annual billing change?
Only the price. Paying yearly costs about 21% less per month than paying monthly, and the features are identical. Monthly is $19 for Pro and $39 for Power; billed yearly those work out at $15 and $31 a month.
Does a paid plan apply to jobs without asking me?
Not unless you switch it on. Auto-apply is off by default on every plan. When you do enable it, it stays inside rules you set: a minimum match score, the job types and the locations. Pro applies with your approval; Power will send on its own where that can be done reliably, and hands you the rest as one click. Read more about the limits in what Hirz will not do.
How do I cancel?
In Settings, without emailing anyone. You keep the paid limits until the end of the period you have already paid for, then the account moves to Free rather than being locked. Your profile, documents and application history stay where they are.
Who takes the payment?
Paddle, as merchant of record. That means Paddle handles the card details, the VAT and the invoice, and Hirz never sees your card number. Charges appear on your statement under Paddle rather than Hirz.
